Mission
NextUP/Guardian Scholars Program is an academic support service committed to advocacy, providing personal growth and economic opportunity for its diverse foster youth student population through education. NextUP/GSP is dedicated to student academic success, personal attention, and empowering participating student's to be successful in their educational endeavors.
Values
NextUP/Guardian Scholars Program values the potential to succeed and the formation of relationships. Providing assistance with academic resources, mentorship, financial needs and community resources, ESP puts the needs of foster youth first by allowing them to pursue their educational goals.
Program Eligibility Requirements:
Current or Former Foster Youth ages 26 or younger. Must have spent at least one day in foster care with verification included. If placed in Sacramento County you can receive your verification information at the number (877)846-1602. Must be in at least 6 units unless recieving services from DSPS. Interested?
