Welcome to the CRC Information Technology Department's information and resources pages. Here you will find valuable information about the local IT support services available to you. You can read about the excellent staff that support you, and read the guidelines, policies and procedures that help keep us efficient and effective. Use the Help Desk button provided (CRC employees only) for our local IT online help desk request form.

District IT Support for District Office centrally managed resources (Employee Self Service (ESS), Canvas, and PeopleSoft) is available at the District HelpDesk site.

Our commitment is to provide all CRC employees with the computer system and IT resources necessary to meet the needs of their position/assignment . If an employee's computer system is not meeting those needs, then place a helpdesk ticket to that effect. State the needs and where the deficiency occurs. This will initiate a resolution process that should result in a solution to the problem in a timely and efficient manner.

  • If it's broken, we'll fix it.
  • If it needs more capacity, we'll upgrade it.
  • If it cannot be fixed or cannot be upgraded, we'll replace it.
  • If the needs of the employee's position change, rendering their computer incapable of meeting those needs, then the area Dean will verify the change in needs and our staff will provide a system capable of meeting the new requirements.

To the left you'll find the Q&A section. Here you will find answers to the common questions we are asked. Please feel free to e-mail any additional question(s) you feel will be helpful to our community.

In the How To's section, you'll find some excellent tutorials and guidelines for the more common and sometimes taxing challenges you will encounter with computer technology. For instance, if your mailbox is filling up, check out the section on how to create personal Outlook folders on your hard drive that you can use to store your older e-mails and remove the storage burden from the district servers. Doing this will remedy those nagging "you have exceeded your limit..." messages that none of us like.

There are many other resources available here to assist you with using computer technology at CRC. We greatly value your feedback/input, so please feel free to let us know your thoughts, comments and suggestions on how we can best serve our constituents.
